Almost 150 kms. away from the state capital, in the far flung coal-belt area of Talcher, where the majority man power of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (a subsidiary of Coal India Limited) is  busy digging Black Diamond, my teammates at DAV,Jagannath Area have been putting the best of their efforts to build the career of the wards of MCL employees. Within a short span of  07 years, since its inception, the school could create a history for itself and got the recognition of being the PRIDE OF DAV for years together.

I am thankful to the parents and students for having tremendous faith & confidence in us. I’m sure the DAV Fraternity at Jagannath Area would definitely continue to produce good citizens who will not only make a good living but a good life as well.
